Nina Favata is an award winning artist and designer whose work appears in national publications, on hospital walls and in licensed products.

The key to the enduring, universal appeal of Nina’s art is her uncanny ability to touch the heart of the viewer, no matter what the age. From her uniquely whimsical Zany Animal™ characters to her colorful butterflies and birds, Nina’s style combines wry humor with translucent warmth.

Nina began her career as a fashion illustrator in New York and is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology. Her illustrations have appeared in national publications such as the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times.

In 1999, Nina pioneered the creation of a full service creative organization whose sole purpose is the beautification of hospital surroundings. The tremendous success of Healing Art Environments has won her acclaim in national TV news programs, newspaper feature stories, magazines, and radio.

With endless enthusiasm and imagination, Nina dedicates her work to touch lives, no matter what the age. She has recently written children’s stories, the Zany Barnyard™ and the Zany Jungle™ and continues to create bright, wondrous images for hospitals and a variety of licensed products.
